         <description><![CDATA[<div>Rodríguez et al. (2023) uncovered a conspicuous lack of application of computational models in guiding the experimental methodology design of research exploring the role of sound in chemosensory perception. For example, 84% of experiments have analyzed their data with ANOVA techniques, and their auditory stimuli selection has primarily relied upon researchers’ expertise, pilot testing, and some existing studies. This reveals an existing research gap while leaving untapped potential of the intricate interplay of auditory cues in influencing food consumer behavior. Therefore, engineering, sensory, and consumer sciences can combine their theoretical and empirical knowledge to provide methodological solutions to effectively analyze experimental data, thus supporting future sound selection that could promote sustainable food consumption. For example, engineering data-driven approaches may support leverage cutting-edge technologies for the quantitative nature of Rodríguez et al.'s findings, and mainly the open-access dataset of crossmodal associations. An innovative solution emerges: the application of machine learning techniques (e.g., neural networks) to process sounds/music and match them to chemosensory experiences (Kantono et al. (2022) showcase neural networks’ application in processing consumer responses to optimize eating environment). This application might find inspiration in Music Emotion Recognition literature, supporting the development of a new Music Chemosensory Experience Recognition system. This system not only introduces a standardized methodology for auditory stimulus selection but also leverages data-driven insights to enhance the precision and efficacy of such stimuli in shaping consumer responses.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Introduction:<br><br></div><div>(1)&nbsp; &nbsp; Using Data Science (DS) as a methodology to inquire into the past can be perceived as counterintuitive, but DS is useful to historical research. Most widely accepted historians’ expertise are qualitative methods and source criticism, and these are perceived as opposed to qualitative and computing methods. Nevertheless, DS is an interdisciplinary form of knowledge that draws methods from computers science and statistics, but it is applied to diverse fields of study including both natural and social subjects. DS provides tools and methodologies to researchers in any field, but especially in History, DS tools can enhance traditional historians’ qualitative methods by providing 4 new pillars. DS provides strategies to access large collections, alternatives to analyze non-traditional historical sources such as images, Machine Learning techniques to identify historical patterns, and methodological tools to identify valuable dissimilarities and shifts in patterns.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>(2)&nbsp; &nbsp; Few works have been done using DS to explore History.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Currently, perovskite solar cells, specifically IPSCs, have gained attention for their comparable Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE) to silicon solar cells due to their low-temperature fabrication. These IPSCs employ nickel oxide (NiOx) as a Hole Transport Material (HTM) due to its effective charge transport and energy alignment. However, to further enhance their performance, it has been demonstrated that the addition of NH4F onto NiOx and NiOx:In using the spin-coating technique significantly increases the average cell efficiencies by 3.3% and 4.1%, respectively, reaching values close to 20% efficiency. Moreover, these NH4F-modified cells exhibit greater stability, with average efficiencies of 14.5% compared to 12.4% for cells without this interface, suggesting that this interfacial modification enhances both the efficiency and stability of IPSCs, solidifying their position as a cost-effective and promising alternative for future photovoltaic energy generation</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Párrafo expositivo:<br>El desarrollo de una investigación sobre transformación tecnológica en empresas colombianas implica definir los siguientes aspectos: propósito de la investigación, contexto, problemática, paradigma epistemológico, estrategia metodológica, métodos de investigación, mecanismos para el análisis de datos y consideraciones éticas. El propósito se refiere al objetivo principal que se prosigue con la realización de la investigación, mientras el contexto hace referencia a la delimitación temporal o espacial en la cual se desarrolle una investigación. Los paradigmas epistemológicos, por su parte, determinan la naturaleza del conocimiento que se desea construir con la investigación y están estrechamente ligados con el enfoque metodológico escogido (cualitativo o cuantitativo). Finalmente, con lo métodos se especifican las herramientas específicas para la recolección de información y la obtención de los datos que posteriormente seguirán un proceso de análisis sistemático.          <description><![CDATA[<div>La falta de equilibrio en el desarrollo de las sociedades ha dejado en evidencia que los recursos naturales corren el riesgo de colapsar, lo cual afectaría ambiental, económica y socialmente a la humanidad (Gonzalez et al., 2015). Adicionalmente, los recursos naturales se han visto afectados por varios factores como el crecimiento de la población, la explotación de materias primas por parte de las industrias, las emisiones de Gases Efecto Invernadero (GEI) asociadas al cambio climático, entre otros (Beg et al., 2002). En este contexto, la construcción de edificios, incluyendo sus cadenas de suministro, es uno de los sectores de la economía que más produce emisiones de GEI, siendo responsable de más del 23% de las emisiones totales a nivel mundial (Chen et al., 2021).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Project management is a challenging area because projects are complex and unpredictable. There are many factors that can affect the success of a project in terms of budget overruns, schedulle delays, qualllyt isues and clients satisfaction. Some of the most notable elements are lacks in the work scope, the team members involved, the resources available, and the external environment, among others.<br><br></div><div>McKinsey Company says that “research shows that 70% of complex, large-scale change programs don’t reach their stated goals”.</div><div>&nbsp;<br>According to another study of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) 2022 Pulse of the Profession survey, only 66% of projects met their goals completely or substantially. This means that 34% of projects failed to meet their goals to some degree.<br><br>Portfolio project management (PPM) can play a crucial role in reducing the high rates of failure in projects by providing a structured and strategic approach to project selection, prioritization, and management in a coordinated way that helps to ensures that all projects within the portfolio align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives, involves evaluating and prioritizing projects based on criteria such as financial and valuable goals for the organization, strategic importance, allows for better resource allocation and utilization, and identifying and assessing risks.<br><br></div>]]></description>
