I negate the statement, since the way they remove the man was brutal. The man had a reason he didn't want to leave the plane. The man said he's a doctor and had a patient waiting.

They had no right to remove anyone from the flight at any point or circumstance. They randomly pulled him from his seat to put co-workers in his place. He stated that he was a doctor going to see his patient at any god-given place, which at some point could be dying. So I disagree with the articles, is a plane full of passengers more important to fly over the country, than saving a persons life?

United airlines had the right to remove anyone but they way they handled it was not okay so I stand against United removing anyone in the way that they did. "rmrest. Then they dragged his limp body down the aisle." (Camilla Domonoske) this quote from a news article shows the condition of the man and how he was handled. This issue could have been dealt with in a different more humane way. There was no need to get violent

The reason he was removed was due to a "overbook" which should be resolved before the passengers even get on the plane but the lack of that caused this passenger to be pulled from his seat. He was offered money and a paid hotel room but declined it to go to his patients and they did not care so instead of asking others they just ripped him from his seat. There is a fine print that anyone can be "bumped" off the flight but they way they proceed to do that is very harsh and not reasonable for such a big company that should not happen at all.

The airline did have the right to remove the man, but they way they treated and responded to the situation was all incorrect, there was many thing they could have done beforehand and even while people where on the plane to avoid this situation

United airlines can legally remove anyone from the overbooked flight, but in the article it states that it should've been done at the time of boarding, not when everyone was seated. But the way they chose to handle the situation was completely wrong. The manner in the way they removed this man was unnecessary because they were using excessive force as they made him bleed and dragged him across the aisle, as he looked unconscious.
