I love how everyone pitches in and how many have done so much to prepare for the Mariapolis. It is also an act of love to be in the hall on time to keep to the program and meal schedules for the kitchen staff.

The conversations and time spent with everyone made the day enjoyable. I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the chance to reflect and connect with others. Today was a meaningful experience, and I enjoyed the sense of community, the positivity of everyone involved, and the overall environment. It was nice to step away from everyday routines and spend time focusing on faith, connection, and reflection.

Since i came in Canada,,this is my first time to attend this Mariapolis gathering.Although i attended already when i was in the Philippines but it has been years and years that I didnt attend until now,,and it was so good,,it was refreshing on my part to remind things in myself to keep going although i am always trying to keep it into practice in my day to day life to what i learned but attending mariapolis is a great help and like a weapon for me to keep going.

This is a constant phrase/reminder for Annika lately that she learned in Mariapolis. We reinforce this phrase all the time to her especially when she’s disappointed or upset with friends, dance classmates or with us.

It was impressive to see families of three generations attending the Mariapolis and helping each other. I had the impression that many of them are immigrants coming from other countries. As they value their traditions and pass them on to their kids and then grandkids, the Ideal plays an important role in their family, helping them continue to live on. I see hope in the fact that the spirituality of unity continues to live on as we pass it on to the next generation.
