Project 1

 For my Project I would like to do a tech based project. Through the first seven units I have learned some skills like learning how to use logic pro aswell as make a composition out of an already existing song/Papercut and added a composition to a moving image/Black Hole Movie. I also learned to perform in a band with others on a stage and to preform individualy.

For my project I would like to make a composition using my guitar and experimenting with different instruments and software on logic. My composition would be in the genre of metal and I would need to come up with a chord progression, Structure, dynamics and key signature for the piece that I will upload to Youtube once finished. They resources I will need for this project would be my guitar and logik.

Week 1

I will come up with a chord progression,key signature and structure for the song and then figure out what tuning my guitar needs to be in

I might have to do some research in my free time aswell making sure that the progression and time signature is correct

Week 2

I could come up with a riff or harmony for the song by probably just experimenting and taking inspiration from different songs then record it on logik.

week 3

As I am recording my guitar part I can try to come up with a drum part as it will help me keep in time when recording and playing my parts

Week 4

I can try and experiment with different digital instruments with different digital instruments and effects on logik to see if it fits with what I came up with.

Week 5

I could just keep adding stuff to my song then come up with an ending

Week 6

I will clean up my song making sure it sounds good (eq, panning and noise gate)

Week 7

I will continue to clean up my song and add finishing touches

Week 2-I rerecorded the song with drums so I could properly keep in time without a metronome and made the drums synch with the guitar etc triplet notes

Week 3 - I added Bass to the first half of the song a also made sure that the bass fit in with the drums and guitar also added synth/keyboard
