They can be found in:
Mice: Tropical lowland of southern Mexico and San Luis Potosi in the east to the Guerro-Oaxaca border in the west.
Rats: Closer to Arizona, New Mexico, Texas.
Birds: These are mostly located in tropical forests.
Snakes and lizzards: Located in Southwest riparian areas, desert grassland cienegas, and streams in valleys.
Fish: Rivers and streams along the border that contain fish such as Rio Yaqui Fish.
Frogs: Found in a lot of places but mostly in tropical trees and bodies of water.
