Mother Teresa worked for 20 years teaching in Calcutta at St Mary's high school while taking trains to participate in spiritual exercises. In 1948 pope Pious XII granted Mother Teresa to leaving her teaching position to begin her work with the poor and hungry of Calcutta. Mother Teresa is a truly radical changed agent because of her kind nature, open-mindedness, her willingness to provide for others and have others join and help her. Now, Mother Teresa has a large following of people who follow in her footsteps of being kind and helping those less fortunate than themselves. For this to happen, it is apparent that Mother Teresa would have to be a truly radical change agent because otherwise, she wouldn't want others to help her change the view on poor people. Mother Teresa replied, ‘I offered it to our Lord. It's all for Him, no? I let Him say what he wants.’ The Interviewer then said, ‘But these people who booed you would say that they also only want the best for women?’ Mother Teresa answered, ‘That may be. But we must tell the truth.’ ‘We have no right to kill. Thou shalt not kill, a commandment of God. And still should we kill the helpless one, the little one? You see we get so excited because people are throwing bombs and so many are being killed. For the grown ups, there is so much excitement in the world. But that little one in the womb, not even a sound? He cannot even escape. That child is the poorest of the poor.” [4]
This interview shows, though she was a saint, there are still people who disagreed with her and her values and beliefs about Christianity. This could have cost her some of her followers, however she was a carer for all and the affect was no substantial.

What was most inspiring was her effortless kind nature and willingness to do good, help the word as well as others. In times are such hardship, she kept to true to herself and didn’t show the effect the harsh world had on her, which is truly inspiring since many people (including me) crack under pressure quite easily. Mother Teresa showed me that no matter what, it is possible to stay true to a faith or to a belief no matter what anyone else says. Her work is continued today through the Missionaries of charity. This shocked me, even though she has passed, her work still prevails, and her beliefs and lifestyle continue to stay in the modern world. Now adays, many of those born in wealthy families discriminate against the less fortunate. They see themselves above everyone and despite Mother Teresa being born into a wealthy family, she didn’t let that distract her from the fact that the world and many people needed help; she provided that.
