Certain lifestyle factors can cause stress and may also lead to diseases yet we are unable to change ourselves because we get so engrossed with our hectic lives that makes us follow the same routine everytime. We follow the same routine every day since we were young that we are cultivated to follow that. It is important that we make a healthy routine since childhood so that we follow that until the end. Adults who wish to change their routine into a healthier one must set their goals and tell their close ones so that they can help to change their routine by constant reminders.

In my opinion, our lifestyle is in our own hands, we decide what we want to do everyday and then we do it acccordingly. I agree that certain lifestyle factors can cause stress and may lead to various diseases, yet we are unable to do so, THIS IS because of the following factors: 1. we are habituated to this kind of lifestyle, and it takes a lot of effort to change a habit. 2. If something does not match our convenience, we stop doing it and always move for the easier option 3. We do things that out environment and society expects us to do and we don't think what we actually want to do and many times the expectations and our wants contradict to each other. But still we choose to do what the society expects from us at the cost of our wants.

Lifestyles that expose individuals to pathogens tend to be either addicting or self-propagating. Unhealthy lifestyle habits such as smoking (which may cause cancer) is addicting, similarly less sleep time may reduce immune system's strength (but it also self propagates by interfering with the internal body clock). Hence, the mere knowledge of the negative impacts of lifestyle is not enough to change our behaviour due to the parasitic nature of the such lifestyles. One needs the self-regulation to be able to achieve this.

Stressed people expose themselves to diseases and other illnesses. They have poor eating habits, they do not sleep much, these things are not healthy in the long run. they pose a life risk, but people are unable to realize the damage and then it's too late. A healthy lifestyle is one where the person has a balanced diet and have proper sleep and take care of themselves. But changing our behaviour is completely up to us and if people know the future risk maybe then they can change their lifestyle to a better and healthier one. People need to be willing to change their lifestyle.

yes certain life style changes do cause stress that later cause diseases like cancer and coronary heart disease as stressed individuals may be more likely to expose themselves to pathogens which are agents that cause physical illness. people who are stressed have poor sleep habits which affect them physically and mentally also they feel difficulty in tacling these situations which in turn cause many diseases.

If we don't sleep well, maintain a balanced diet, exercise & manage our time effectively, we don't have the energy to rationalize and calmly deal with what is stressing us out.
Stressed individuals often expose themselves to things like alcohol & drugs which may temporarily curb their pain, but in the long run, it is not the best solution, as these things are harmful physically. Our dependence on things like alcohol, poor nutrition, sedentary lifestyles gradually deteriorate our ability to deal with stress.
