Girls tend to mature faster than boys mentally. They are two years ahead in puberty and learn to control impulse and judgement much faster. I'm not hinting that girls are smarter in any way. But when it comes down to emotional or physical connections, girls are more likely to have a better understanding- especially when it comes to impulse and judgement. As much as they would suffer with the trauma and have disagreements, they would be able to light off their ego and visualize what's better for all. I think that young girls wouldn't focus on trying to be in control of others, and would work together instead. However, that situation is still frustrating and incredibly difficult, so violence and arguments are still very likely.
