1. There isn't an author to the Qur'an because all stories about Muhammed were recorded by scribes in addition to God giving his word through the Angel Gabriel to Muhammed himself. This began on the month of Ramadan and lasted 23 years and ultimately concluded in the year 632.
2. Muhammed was a prophet who was not seen as divine or spiritual. He was emphasized as being just a regular man who was the messenger to God. He is the model to live your life after as God spoke everything to him that he wants from his people.
3. Muhammed is depicted in a very good light and remained a follower of God and always wanted the best for the people who believed in the words that he preached. It was reiterated that he is not divine or the son of God in any way so as to be more relatable to the people.
4. You get a more in depth perspective about Muhammed and the beliefs that he chose to preach. You get to read and hear about good examples from the text itself that gives you a more solidified example of what Muhammed was really like rather than just from stories.

1. The authors are American Authors. This is like the ordinary person's understanding of Muhammad. The poems are their personal views of Muhammad.

2. Based on our reading, Muhammad is seen as a person who saved humanity. He is a hero and a person that can be admired and will lead them to Allah if they follow his footsteps. He is the messenger/chosen one for Allah. He is seen as their biggest mentor.

3. The Prophet Muhammad is praised in the poems. They believe that the love for him will continue to grow and grow. They will love all who stand for him. They believe that he was the best thing to ever happen to salvation.

4. It is not just history for them. It teaches you more about prophets as a person and how they have a key role in the religion. They play a key role in their lives; almost like they are there with them. You get a first hand view on how his followers see him. It is more personal than historical.
