That being said, there seems to be a lack of drive or motivation for their desire to be a defense attorney for our firm. Although the applicant has experience in dedication to Model United Nations at Alma College, a recognized member of the Model United Nations community, there seems to be little to no experience in law or law education listed. Obviously to become a defense attorney you would need more schooling and experience. This would add nicely to the cover letter and make it more complete I do like the idea of how you start the cover letter as well but it might need to be polished slightly. This is seen through their dedication to practicing and gain new experience. I found the point that they brought up about experience being the best thing to prepare individuals to be a very good thing, because it is also my belief. I do believe that this cover letter could be polished and refined. While the contents of the letter is good there isn't enough information for me to work off of. I feel as though even if the applicants qualifications or accomplishments aren't super lengthy that they should at least fill some space with their personality to make up for it.
