Example 2: The atmosphere in the courtroom is heavy, nobody's talking, it seems that it's a very serious case. That's a very tense situation. The lawyer doesn't talk much and very slowly. He is stand in front of the jury just to be heard, he seems angry. The lawyer is trying to appeal to the jury.

1) The video is the closing statement of the defense lawyer. The lawyer declare it is a case of mistaken identity. Her client named Mr. Teecy (?) is a working student and he has a job. 
He is charge of a criminal attack which happened on March 10th 2010. 

2) The atmosphere is very solemn and tense. The lawyer seems feigned by the situation. We can see that by his pauses in his speech. The audiance seems very moved by his closing statement. He is obviously trying to convince the jury to prove his client innocent.

In the closing statemnet you normally summarize all of the important information and evidence and explain why that piece of evidence or information is important.

Closing Statement : 
1.The closing statement is a summary made by the lawyer at the end of the trial. The goal of the closing statement is to help the lawyer convince the judges in his favour by giving a well constructed summary based on all the evidence and testimonies already mentioned throughout the trial. The lawyer must not mention any new information about the case, but only use the information that is already known. 
2. example 1 : The lawyer said that her client was wrongly accused of attacking the victim and that it is a case of mistaken identity. The accusation was based on  an approximate indentification of the culprit and troubled memories from the stressful event. 
example 2 : 1. The atmosphere is very tense and we can see that it is a crucial moment of the trial.

A cross examination is the lawyer's opportunity to ask questions to the witness of the other side. The point to build a lawyer's own case to undermine the credibility of the witness. The key of a cross examination is to use leading questions is order to make the witness agreeing with you.

The lawyer also said that Mr T.C was not in the alley he was at the rec center where he played basketball and talked to Mr Wong about courses and scholarships and went home at eight. A month later Constable De Carlo came to arrest him and picked up basketball shoes that were outside of his appartment and that were not his. The constable and Mr Wong confirmed this.

The atmosphere in the scene is very heavy and serious. 

Thelawyer is trying to convince the jury that Tom Robinson is innocent. He uses the fact that Tom Robinson has a family to try and get the jury to sympathize with him.
