This image is from the rain project that we did in 2nd semester. The way I edited this photograph is I added clarity to enhance the droplets. I also added vibrance to pop out the different shades of green. I played around with the exposure and vignette to add a bit more darkness around the edges. I love this photograph because something about it just pops out to me, I love the different shades of green. I love the angle of the photograph, in my eyes everything ties it in together.

This image is from the "copy my poses" project that was done in the first semester. I didn't do much to manipulate because it already looked great beforehand. The only thing I may have done was adjust the exposure. I really like this photo because I think it is a great portrait photo that represents my aptitude for portrait photography.

I took pictures of a dodge challenger for the project, and really like this one of the tire. I didn't edit it much besides changing the saturation a bit. I love how detailed the image is and how you can see every little part and imperfection.

This photo is one that I took of Trance when our class went out to take pictures of dogs. In this photo, he is looking to the side so the viewers get a 3/4 view of his face. To me the story was that he was looking out to the side to the other dogs because he wants to go play. This is my favorite photo that I've taken this semester so far, because of the way that everything in the photo works together so well. I like how only Trance is in focus, but the background is blurry. Also I liked how the background was one solid color making the focus just on the dog. To me, it kind of looks like he is sort of smiling, which is really cute.

I like how clear the photo is and especially the text on the score board. It was from the first semester during the Composition project. I edited it in Lightroom to get the colors to pop and make the photo look more vintage.

I didn't do much editing to it because it was already a great photo but I did brighten his fur and darken the background to make Oscar pop more.

This image is from the rain project. The interesting part about this picture is that it is an ordinary plant, yet looks like a cactus. I like that. It is my favorite photograph because of its dramatic nature, and that this photo reminds me of my family. The editing pulled this photograph into a better area of photographs, as the texture, clarity, and saturation were the primary sliders that were tampered with. Another thing about this is how detailed the picture is, and I personally love how you can see the small ridges on the plant; it is fascinating.

This picture was taken from the most recent project we had for the water droplets. to edit this picture, I had used Lightroom to be able to enhance some of the colors. I had also tried to focus on the droplets as much as I could. I like this picture the most because of how the droplets made to photo look like it was something seen from a window after it had rained. I also like that the original picture I used for this project had been one of many that I had taken in Santa Monica in 2022.

This photo was recently taken during the food photography project. My photo is of my partner dipping the cookie into the milk because who hasn't dipped their cookie into a cold glass of milk before? To edit this photo I used a lot of LightRoom to add some more warmth into the photo while also brightening and darkening certain areas. I also used a bit of Photoshop on little crumbs that were on the cloth. This has come out to be my favorite photo of this year so far because I feel like it looks very professional and I really like how the background, cookies, and cloth all go together.

I say this is my favorite because of the vibrance of the color and how it all blends well together with the different hearts. It was a fun project and I enjoyed working together with my group to take these pictures.

I didn't do a lot of editing in this photo but I did turn up the contrast. This was a super fun project because it gave us the experience to take pictures of animals. It can be a challenge though since you might want to get the dog to pose a certain way or even get its attention but this project teaches you to have patience and to make the dog feel comfortable while giving them lots of pets

This photo was taken during the first semester in the "Compositional Rules" project. In this photo it consisted of my friend who I used as my model. While I was on the way to completing all five compositional rules for photography, all I had left to do was 'framing'. At first trying to find an idea was really hard and I struggled for a while. However after brainstorming with what objects we had near, I stumbled across a tire laying on the grass. So with the help of my friend we both lifted the tire up, and had her put in the middle to create the frame. As I was preparing to take the shot my friend thought it'd be funny to take a photo at the same time that I did, however I had no idea that she was and the reason being was because I was facing the sun so I couldn't see properly. However as I got up to see the photographs I realized that these shots were amazing even though it wasn't even intentional.

I liked this image right away because of the clouds and the whole feel of it, and already had an idea for editing. I turned the temperature down, giving it the slightly blue tint you see. I also decreased the highlights, shadows, and whites settings. What gives it the look that I love is the texture and De-haze being turned way up. I feel like all the elements compliment each other very well. To edit this photo, I imported it into Lightroom and upped the exposure and vibrance to make those subtle colors pop. I also cropped my image to make sure the focus was clearly on the center succulent.

This photograph was taken for the compositional rules project a while back. This is the compositional rule Crop. I really like this specific photo because you can see the texture in the tree and it's all you can focus on. I used lightroom to make it black and white to really make the tree pop out more, rather then having your attention go to the background. I feel this is my best picture everything is just perfect to me.

I had sprayed water from a water bottle on a clear plate and had put the plate on two things of bricks to hold the plate above my phone. I had then put my phone under the set up and had started taking pictures of this lion. I had edited this photo in light room and had adjusted the Temp lower and Tint higher. I love how the picture is already enough but the water droplets gives it more to the photo. I love how it has the all blue color in this photo

This was one of my photos I had taken for our "Flowers" project. I enjoyed this assignment because I learned that vibrant colors lead to some of the best shots. I also learned about the confirmation of flower photography, meaning to focus on my main object and try not capturing any of its surroundings. I not only learned the importance of confirmation in flower photography but kept that throughout all of our other projects. Something I like about my photo are its vibrant colors and that the texture of the flower is noticeable.

This photograph is from the rain project we did during 2nd semester. I used Lightroom to edit this picture. I wanted to go for a more dark mood so I decreased the exposure. I increased the contrast all the way. On top of that, I increased the vibrance of the picture to make the green stand out and increased the texture so the water droplets were more defined. I played around with the vintage to give it a dark effect around the picture and have the leaf and tiny flower be the center piece. I love how focused and defined the droplets/flower are in the photo and the feeling you get when looking at it. This is defiantly one of my top favorites I have done all year.

This photo was taken when we did our dog photography project this year. This was probably my favorite project this year that we've done. Not only did we get amazing photos of these cute dogs but we also had a fun time seeing the dogs behavior and seeing how happy the dogs were. I specifically really liked this photograph however. The angle, the little tongue sticking out is just so cute. I really like how it captures the dogs features making her really stand out. I edited it by going into Lightroom and messing with the lighting, exposures, and texture a lot. I really wanted it to be a well balanced picture so that nothing was overpowering the other. Overall the photo is cute but also very beautiful in its own way. I'm really proud of how it turned out and I would do it again if I had the chance to.

This is a photo I took of Marielle during our Andrea Robescu project. I liked my creative process during this and how I made the wings and the crown. Using an online stencil and the crown by trying multiple times. It was fun to edit and make and the colors used were what she said were her favorites at the time. While there were other photos I could have chosen, some with a lot of personal meaning attached, I chose this one because it was fun. I lowered the texture and clarity so it felt less real and made a layer mask with just Marielle in it so I could place the wings behind her. I intentionally gave the wings a graffiti type of look by lowering the opacity of the eraser tool and by randomly tapping on various parts of it and using a slightly darker or lighter shades of yellow and purple or low opacity black paint.

We met in Carlsbad village and she came in her ballet outfit with her pointe shoes. We walked around and I took various pictures of her doing different poses, and this was one of my favorites. To edit this picture, I went into Lightroom and put a black and white filter on. Then I adjusted the exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, texture, clarity, and dehaze. I really like this photo because I like the pose my friend is doing and the black and white really pulls everything together to give it elegant feeling. I also like how there is normal city life in the background like people walking and cars driving.

I got a really focused shot of the flower in the middle as well as showing the flowers in the back that still are yet to bloom.

I took this photo when we were doing flat lays. it is a bunch of things that remind me of my little doggo. She is my favorite thing on this planet. I want4ed to get a bunch of things around my house that remind me of my little dog. So I got a picture I had of her, some of her toys, some dog food, and a harness, and her extra collar. I used all these objects to create a very pretty layout off all things related to my dog. I love how this turned out and am so proud that I was able to make everything fit together so well and it all combined so smoothly.

My partner was also taking photos of my camera to include for the project, when I took my photo. For this project, we had to go outside the classroom to photograph different things, and at first, it was somewhat difficult to handle the double exposure, meaning when I'd take a picture the double/second shot would come out uneven or just out of place. When I shot this and looked back at the camera I instantly fell in love with the way the sky looked. Overall, this has been one of my favorite pictures that I've taken because of how calming and peaceful the sky looks.

I chose to change the original background to space because my model, Aidan Parson, loves space and I thought it went perfectly with his pose since I could write a prompt about him being an astronaut in space. To change the background I spent time in photoshop creating layers and outlining his body to make sure it was the only thing visible from the original background. This project was really fun and I think this is one of my favorite photos since I spent a lot of time on the editing and put a lot of thought into how I wanted it to look.

This photo was taken earlier this semester in the rainy day project. I saw a truck in the parking lot with this big Ford emblem on the front and I just got the idea to drip water down the front of the truck to see how the photos turned out. What I like about this photo is that even though it was a completely sunny day, I was able to make it look as if it just rained. I like how the logo is perfectly in focus and the focus fades from right to left. This photo almost reminds me of a photo that would be used in a Ford commercial so I think that's also really cool. In Lightroom I changed the vibrance and saturation, as well as the clarity and texture, and I added a very small dark vignette too, since the Ford logo is circular shaped. I think it turned out to be a very good photograph and one of my favorites from the year.
