Over the summer she got to work with our now 8th graders at Oasis for Summer School. She is now co-teaching with Mrs. Riccardo in 6th grade Social Studies. Deb can be found in Room 107. At school, Mrs. Doyle is very competitive. She even took a bet from an 8th grade student about who could run down the stairs faster. Naturally she beat him and he still owes her $1.

Outside of school she enjoys rooting on the Buffalo Bills, golfing and paddle boarding. Deb loves being social and having fun. She especially loves spending time with her new grandbaby, Madelyn James.

We are so happy to welcome Mrs. Doyle here!

It soon became apparent, however, that November 11 was a date of historic significance to many Americans. Therefore, in 1978 Congress returned the observance to its traditional date.

National Ceremonies Held at Arlington National Cemetery The focal point for official, national ceremonies for Veterans Day continues to be the memorial amphitheater built around the Tomb of the Unknowns.

Welcome Mr. Alexander Petkopoulous!

This is Alex's first year in our district! He is our Math Tutorial teacher for 6th Grade and joined the 6th grade team around November. He can be found on the 6th grade floor, across from Ms. Nair. Mr. Petko is thrilled to help the kids see the world through the lens of mathematics. I'm a big advocate for continuous improvement and trying new challenges, because it is the best way to learn and grow.

I like to work with electronics and computers, and also I play bass guitar in a rock band. My father owns Darwin's, downtown.

We are thrilled to have Mr. Petko here at Syracuse STEM @ Blodgett.
