The wendigo represents greed because wendigos are known to be humans who turned into them after resorting to cannibalism if they don't have food and are desperate for it. Because of their greed and weakness and because of this, it causes an evil spirit to possess them and transform them into a creature that is unable never satisfy it's hunger, always looking for people or animals to feed on.

After doing this more and more he transformed into this crazy beast with the constant desire to feed unable to satisfy itself no matter how much it eats.
