*System of accountability in place to monitor implementation.

* Frequent and ongoing training throughout the school year.

* Train teachers on the reflection process of a PBIS or offer coaching in this area.

* Frequent updates of discipline data and impact of the program

* More buy in from teachers and administration would have made the program more of a success.

* Focus on one implementation at a time (The implementation of Olweuss and House programs adopted from Ron Clark was too cumbersome).

* Consider a more cost effective approach. Thousands of dollars were spent on a program that was not implemented with fidelity.

* Data was reviewed at the initial professional development. The goal of the program was to decrease bullying, implement a positive behavior incentive program, and to decrease the amount of time students spend out of the classroom due to discipline issues.

*The data showed our school had the second highest referrals out of all elementary schools in the district.

*Most referrals were for horseplay, harassing, touching/striking, and profanity.
