The duration of my industrial training program is around 16 weeks starting from 21 March 2022 until 10 July 2022. On my first day, I was introduced to the staff of the company consisting of Mr. Razif and also Mr. Mizy and also some other staff. I was also provided with facilities such as wifi and also complete and perfect office equipment. 

My first task is that I need to open a social media account belonging to Bangi Convention Center and see previous posts and also video montage regarding Bangi Convention
Center. Then, I was taken to see the surroundings of the Bangi Convention Center area which consists of the First BCC located on the 1st floor and also the Sutera BCC located on the groundfloor of the Bangi Convention Center.

I have been assigned to do daily postings as well as postings regarding the ongoing activities at the Bangi Convention Center. 

Apart from that I have also been informed to always be ready to help when the event has taken place to extend assistance if needed. My first task on March 22, 2022 is to make the first post on the Bangi Convention Center Facebook page regarding the ongoing event, the Jeans Warehouse Sale. I have taken some footage and photos throughout the event. Then, I edited some of the footage taken to be a short recording intended as a promotional video for the current event that is taking place. 

Upon completion I was taken to continue seeing the surroundings of the Bangi Convention Center area. For this session I was shown rooms or halls such as BCC Songket which is a waiting and rest area for VIP guests then I was taken to see the BCC Crystal which is the preparation room area for the wedding event for the bride and groom. Then I was introduced to the AV room which is a room to see the atmosphere at BCC Sutera in its entirety from the top view. I obtained the video and photo on the official Google Drive of the Bangi Convention Center. The editing process uses the CapCut application. After completing the editing process, the video is uploaded to the official Facebook of Bangi Convention Center.

After completing the previous task, I continue to do the daily task of taking pictures for the ongoing event. For March 23, 2022, the event that is still ongoing is the Jeans Warehouse Sale event that took place at BCC Sutera. Then at 2.00 pm I was instructed by Mr. Mizy to pick up the employee who would take the chiller to be brought downstairs. I also provided energy assistance to help the workers throughout the process to bring the chiller down.

Around 4.00 pm I was assigned to help prepare the hall at BCC gem for the Hi-Tea ceremony which will take place on 26 March 2022 by arranging 8 round tables and 8 chairs on each moon table provided. After completing the preparation process of the BCC gem hall, I was taught regarding the use of the projector that was in the BCC gem hall for future use by Mr. Mizy.

After that, in the time around 5.00 pm. I have been instructed to do sanitation in the office and also in BCC gem and BCC Songket. The sanitation process uses a sanitary sprayer. Today’s post is all about the goodness of Friday from an Islamic point of view. Then I did some tasks such as taking pictures for an ongoing event. The ongoing event is the Jeans Warehouse Sale event that took place at BCC Sutera.

Then at 3.00 pm I was shown to be instructed to do the installation of a new HDMI wire for the projector which was in the hall of BCC Permata. HDMI plugged in from the main source of the projector and routed to my laptop for the purpose of checking the condition of the HDMI wires. I also did an inspection for the audio cable that was in BCC Permata. All equipment inspected is in good condition.

I have also been assigned to prepare a signpost for the upcoming event on March 26, 2022 which is a Hi-Tea event organized by Mrs. Robiah. During the event is taking place around 2.30 pm. I have been instructed to monitor and assist if assistance is required by the client for me to keep in touch with the catering staff for referral purposes with respect to cordial water supply and cakes. I obtained information regarding this client from the official archives of the Bangi Convention Center. After getting all the necessary data, I immediately entered all the data into an Excel spreadsheet, namely Google Sheets, so that it would be easier for me to sort later. Upon completion I was tasked to create a new Excel spreadsheet for the use of filling in client information for the “Citarasa Ramadhan @ Bangi Convention Center” event for the year 2022.
