If they worked in teams, and created a learning experience for other students to follow, and that experience could use pictures, videos, and links; and then be made public, I could see this benefitting students from different backgrounds , and even students from all over the world.

Participants can have easy access to all of their current projects and know exactly what they need to do to get started on their part. I also would design the tool to include the option of creating a private server room such as Discord for those who want to gather and have collaborative discussions. Although less informal, this is easier than having to schedule meetings and can help productivity. In addition, implementing templates and designs like Canva would help make the tool more creative and personalized. of CPITS to write poetry, I would create a collaborative tool to engage & inspire them to brainstorm together, sharing ideas, photos, videos, to make their work livelier. Canva templates help them with designs, Pinterest photos have images to illustrate their poems, YouTube videos and Google Earth can take them travelling afar.
I have used "Geometry Playground" for students to choose "Circle, Square, Cross, Triangle, Spiral" in writing their poems. My "Geometrical Figures Compilation" with dozens of examples will stir students to action. If they are interesting in travel, "Literature Trips to Points of Inspiration" will offer another avenue for exploration.

I have students who work on Jamboard and on Google slides together, and they often delete other students' work or mess with other students' work. I really want students to be able to work together, but be able to lock their work from others being able to edit it, unless they unlock their work. For example, if someone is writing a section, the owner can lock that piece. Then when they finish another piece, they can lock that.    Currently, most large firms consult with their national team leads in each state to come together to formulate very complex answers.    However, at the middle market and small business levels a lot of practitioners are forced to subscribe to very expensive research software which requires annual subscriptions for each user. On top of this issue, half the time you get answers and examples that apply to larger clients at the national levels. 
The app would allow users to post there issues, interpretations and problems to the community and have a set follow-up date which volunteers would answer there approach and rationale for treating it that way. The issue is a lot of "old school" firms do not necessarily want to share information/trade secrets because they view it as an opportunity to take your clients. I believe it is essential have all the potential ideas in one place instead of scattered across numerous platforms because when they’re scattered it is difficult to remember what platform was used for creating a particular idea. Under the Resources drop-down menu at the top of my Piazza-like homepage interface, I would place a General  tab option which links to my Padlet-like wall. I would design these two to retain similar features as their sources of inspiration. This would work well for projects that were running the entire term in the background of daily class activities. I would need more time to ruminate over the specific idiosyncratic features which would be augmentations of the features of Piazza and Padlet. I am not so much a design person as I am a high end user. So, I would like to answer the question as what I would do as a high end user. I would use Padlet as a tool to conduct real time faculty meetings and expose the faculty to the tool to encourage use in the classroom. I work in the community college setting so faculty only communicate with students 1, 2 and rarely 3 times a week. Some of the digital collaborative tools that I have used in the last year are Paddle, Nearpod, google classroom, edpuzzle.  The use of these digital tools sometimes limits my opportunity to provide feedback, or grade student work. It would be called 10-20. 10-20 is the police radio code for location. As an officer, a car chase can turn into a foot chase at any given moment. Police cars have GPS but once an officer is on foot, the only way to pinpoint their location is if its given to the dispatcher via radio. 10-20 would be a gps tracker that an officer can install on their work mobile device and should an officer get in an unfortunate situation away from his patrol car and he's unable to speak into his radio, the gps tracker can pinpoint his/her exact location and send backup and EMS. If the officer leaves their phone in the car, the app would be connected to their bodycam and still work the same way. If it works the way that I hope it does, it would really allow for people to have a collaborative workspace that is similar to working in person. I don't miss going into the office, but I do miss being able to workshop ideas with a whiteboard, post-it notes, and even sharing media. 
So I would say that my collaboration tools would at least have that functionality. I dynamic whiteboard simulation experience, and one that people could use simultaneously. The version on Zoom currently is suboptimal. I think one of the best ways to get through to students and lower their affective filter is through play. One example that comes to mind is Prodigy- a "gamefied" math learning platform. My tool would be high quality, standards based and focused on grouping according to level.
