      <description>A student newspaper at Stanford University was searched by the police after they suspected the paper to be full of photographs and negatives that demonstrated  a violent clash between police officers. A month after the search, the paper seek declaratory relief against the police officers who conducted the search, the chief of police, the district attorney and one of his deputies, and the judge who had issued the warrant. The Daily and various staff members filed a suit claiming that under the protection of the First, and Fourth Amendment, of the Constitution, the warrants were unconstitutional.</description>
