The Wireframe, Screenplan and Storyboard were all created using templates from the Digital Learning Institute which were subsequently modified to suit my needs. A wireframe is a one-page document that displays the flow of the learning from the Introduction to each section, the assessment, and finally next steps. The Screenplan gives a general look at what will be on each screen such as an image, video, or text. The Storyboard breaks this further down into deciding exactly what will appear in each learning block in the multimedia course. Such as the exact text, the actual videos, and the actual images. In my work role the Wireframe, Screenplans and Storyboards are all combined into one document.

My prototype consists of a six-section course with three topics per section. It was developed using the Elucidat authoring tool. In fact, I prototyped the entire six sections. Padlet was used as the mechanism for displaying the link to the course, the Wireframe, Screenplan and Storyboard templates. I purposely kept the screens very minimalistic consisting of Accordions, images, text, videos, tabs, and labelled hotspots. At a later stage I might consider adding in more advanced features as well as learning analytics. For the moment I am pleased with keeping it interactive and engaging.

I was going to leave out captions in the videos. However, I decided to edit the recorded videos use text to speech to create the captions which were edited afterwards. Ideally, I would have liked to add word document transcript files to each video. Due to time constraints this was not possible.
