 I also think that the theme to "Ascension" was try and try again until you achieve your goal because as I saw them as their statue rolled down the mountain, I saw that they were determined to get it back and not say "That's it, I'm done." One person had prosthetic limbs while the other person had a complete body made of flesh.
 I think that the tone would be a tone about friendship. In one of the scenes, the people were climbing the mountain, and one of the guy's prosthetic tumbled down the mountain. He knew he wasn't capable of going back down to get it without his other leg. But, the other guy went down the mountain and captured it for him. That tells me that their friendship is strong enough to make the other guy climb down thousands of feet just to retrieve the leg. I can apply this to my life because my friend was once stuck and scared
     I also think that the theme of "Ascension" would be "Even though the road gets tough, you shouldn't give up." For example, when they made it to the top, they placed the statue on the peak of the mountain. Then a falcon came down and perched on the statue. They started throwing snowballs at it, which caused it to fly off and knocked the snowball down. I know this because around the middle part of the story, one of the climbers in the  animation, his leg had came off. So, he must've thought that maybe they should give up or something. But no, the other climber went down to get his arm, but then his arm fell as well! So, he went to go get that too. While doing this the climber with the the 2 missing limbs still had continued their goal which had been to get a magnificent statue. So, both climbers did what was needed to do.
