Subculture in Japan, where girls want to be “beautiful”. Their symbol is to go tanning, put on large amounts of makeup, teeze their hair to the extreme and wear neon bright clothes. They go to tanning salons almost everyday. The girls meet up and there are members from different countries, but meet up in Tokyo, Japan. After they meet they have interviews or photo session (purikura pictures), then afterwards all go out to eat together. d.i.a. is their fashion brand, which most of them wear. They have their own language by dressing the way they do and the members only know about it, such as the big hair, pounds of makeup and the tanning.
