It is a part of the body's digestive system. It produces juices called enzymes, which helps the body to digest food and also make insulin.

People who have diabetes don't have a proper working pancreas. Because of this they must inject them self with insulin daily.

Facts:
The name pancreas comes from the Greek name for flesh.

The actual function of the pancreas was not discovered until the 19th century.

Extra:
