This is a negative effect of housing because it is caused by others, throwing out their used and unwanted waste anywhere on the ground near them. This attracts pests like rats and cockroaches to settle in these areas to feed on trash which affects the hygiene and sanitation of the residential area. In this area, there is not many large heavily polluted spaces. There is however, many smaller pieces of litter like parts of a plastic bag and a broken off piece of a used styrofoam container for food. This would cause smaller animals like squirrels and birds to eat them as they are smaller and lighter which would be easier to pick up.
