The book is a two point perspective book about a girl in the present and her grandmothers sister. The sister's perspective starts off being told by the grandmother's diary and her side of the story, and later develops into the sister's first hand experience. Their story takes place in France during the Holocaust, hence "Paris". During November through February everyday after school I spend about three hours taking turns with my team shooting competition rifles. It is a tough sport due to how much practice and precision it takes but I love it so much.
