We have put so much into learning cell phone and technology teaching strategies due to the Covid pandemic, some of us will need to rethink our approach to daily teaching. And that is a good thing, but Padlets and Kahoots might need to be given back to sticky notes and writing on the board. Hopefully our PD will support that shift for us.

It’s often very hard to get an admin or security to classroom when calling office. What messages are being sent to parents because they are often calling/texting kids during school day. I also agree with moving homeroom to first block. We also need an organized procedures for students leaving school. Right now most walk out front door without question. If they have a locked phone or taken phone it’s going to add more office traffic

I advocate for the latter as the main office has a lot of other things to deal with. And there should be a dedicated person/people to deal with these issues.
