In my research methods class we created google slides talking about Gentrification and how its affecting our community and ways we see it happen. I also had a PA in my Algebra class based on Gentrification and we had the find the next location that will be gentrified  by doing math. Doing this PA made me realize a lot of things that is happening around my neighborhood like more fancier cars and people remaking buildings. We were assigned a neighborhood to investigate using systems of linear equation what will be the next location that will be Gentrified. We were preparing for this PA for a few weeks before, learning about solving systems of linear equations. We learned two method which are substitution and elimination. Doing this will help Ms.T warn the community and go protest the location because the developers go and gentrify that location. I was given 2 tasks one was finding the 3 locations that will be taken over developers. I find this method easier to do when both equations are in standard form. The equations are y ≤ -5/6 + 2 , x ≥ 6 ,  x≤ 7,  y ≥ -5. We are going to use the solving systems of  linear equations by sketching method. All of these equations are solid lines. To find the solution we need to find were all these equations combine and share a region. The next developers Gentrification zone is located at Evans Ave near 3rd st.
