Negotiate treaties is a strength because congress can decide if they want peace and they don't need to ask someone's permission to negotiate.

Congress chose limited government so no one can have to much power over each other.

Congress could settles conflicts, which is good because they could protect citizens by stopping the fight.

They could of improved by choosing a leader when they finally got independence.

No national court system means it was hard to pass laws and when there was a case that the states couldn't figure out their was no where else to go. They could of choses one state to have the upper court.

States rejecting congress is a bad the because they could reject to giving money and am army to help protect the country. They should of not given so much independence to states.

There was no good army because the states had their own and was protecting their land and not giving soldiers away. They could of have had the same army from before to stay and give them money for it.

After he Articles of Confederation was ratified it was already causing problems. Congress tried to make it so the states could be independent, but realized soon after that it wasn't going well. There was no one to lead and have control over all the states. There was no national court system that helped out with bigger conflicts. States kept rejecting congress for soldiers and money to pay debts.
