The Surface Headphones 2 are an updated version of Microsoft’s original noise-cancelling headphones, and they offer a number of improvements over the previous model. Perhaps the most notable change is the addition of Bluetooth 5.0 support, which allows the headphones to be used with a wider range of devices. The headphones also feature an updated design that makes them more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

As someone who often wears headphones for hours at a time, I can say that the Surface Headphones 2 are some of the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn. The ear cups are padded with soft memory foam, and they sit snugly on your head without applying too much pressure. I was also impressed by the quality of the sound. The headphones offer support for Microsoft’s proprietary aptX audio codec, and the overall sound quality is on par with other premium wireless headphones.

The Surface Headphones 2 also feature active noise cancellation, which does an impressive job of blocking out unwanted noise. I tested the headphones in a variety of environments, and they were able to effectively block out ambient noise in all but the loudest settings. In addition, the headphones feature a “pass-through” mode that allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the headphones. This can be handy if you need to make a quick announcement or have a short conversation.

 

Not only do they offer superb sound quality, but they also feature active noise cancellation that blocks out unwanted noise. And since they’re wireless, I can use them with my Surface Pro or my laptop without having to worry about tangled cords.
