Dear, Ma'am Sheila:

Hello, Ma'am! It's your special day, and I hope that this letter makes you feel just as important as you are.

I like to express my appreciation to you po. Please know that I will be eternally grateful to you, for everything you've done for me (as an irregular student) and my classmates over the past few months. Thank you po for all of the jokes when we needed them the most, especially during stressful moments in nursing subjects, and for always being willing to lend a helping hand when we needed it.

Ma'am Sheila, you have no idea po how much help you provided me po not just in the academic aspect, but also in life. You aided me po in a lot of life realizations because of the fights you've experienced in life, from the major operations you've undergone down to the silent battles you've endured. And that inspired me to dream and hope once more.

I've learned that even though life can be excruciatingly difficult at times, I must keep fighting in life no matter what. There are a lot of times that I feel like giving up for this dream, a dream to finish nursing school, because I always feel like this isn't the right path for me, and that I am not capable of doing the nursing duties, but your story somehow strengthens me. Just the thought of you fighting for your desire to live a purposeful life makes me want to strive even more and be grateful for every little thing. Hence, a huge thanks to you, Ma'am, I now have newfound courage to continue and fight for my dream. I am slowly learning to be more confident in my abilities since I am surrounded by good people like you.

So, Ma'am Sheila, thank you. I'm grateful that I've met you, and I am more than privileged to have you as an instructor and a second mother rolled in one person! May you continue to spread love and inspiration to others through your story. I know that God will safeguard you and your family more because you have a good and humble heart.
