They help children, youth and their families. Their mission is to help those affected and stop the cycle of abuse. They are committed to bringing perpetrators to justice. When investigating the issue, it is video recorded. Video recordings help document exactly what is said. It also helps the child not have to tell the story so many times and re-living it.

You can call this number if you or children you know is being abused, neglected, or sexually exploited. Help is available is multiple languages. So not knowing how to speak English would not be a barrier in getting the help needed. This hotline also helps an individual to find resources in their area. I think this is a great service because youth can contact someone anytime they need. It also may be easier to speak to someone over the phone than in person.

The youth and children who are eligible to receive treatment is anyone who is 17 or younger. They also assist children who are at risk in getting involved. There is preventive programs so that more children will be aware. Intervention is offered which includes education, risk assessment, and appropriate provision service. Children and youth can access lots of voluntary community services which includes, medical assistance, drug and alcohol counselling, psychological counselling, educational programming, placement resources, and life skills support. Children who are in immediate risk get taken and can be help from 5 to 47 days. While in care they can receive emergency care, treatment, assessment, develop long term plans in exiting sexual exploitation. If they are unable to return home, children/youth get connected to community support Services or placement services.

Calgary Adolescences Treatment services (C.A.T.S) clinic offers free and confidential medical support to vulnerable or homeless young people.

It starts with a 28 day stay for children aged 8-12. Girls who are 13-16 stay for 12 days. Throughout the year children come back and do 12 days of additional intense intervention. They use ACES and trauma-informed care to give proper care to their children. Little warriors also use evidence-based and leading clinical practices.

It is to support families and individuals to live free from family violence and abuse. They have a 24hr family violence help telephone line, they also have child, youth, and family support programs. They offer community services counselling, men's counselling service, and a court support program. Their counsellors aim to develop a non-judgemental relationship between their client and themselves. Men's counselling contacts the partner of those who are being abusive so they can have a better understanding. A good thing about this organization is that their counselling if free but, donations are welcomed.
