Even though the design of the antenna required a lot of time and effort, the results were achieved through exact modification.
We learnt a lot about how changes in the spacing, diameter, or length of the elements can affect the gain, which is typically easier understood through experiential learning than theoretical learning.
In general, antenna designing was a useful yet instructive exercise.

The antenna design activity was a valuable learning experience from both an academic and personal perspective.
Academically, we gained practical knowledge on how antennas are designed, and how to achieve a specific gain for a given set of parameters.
We also learned that adjusting certain variables, such as the spacing between elements could significantly enhance performance.
Similarly, in life, maximizing results often requires making adjustments, such as changing certain habits or approaches.
Just as optimising an antenna’s design improves its output, refining our personal habits can lead to greater success and growth in life.

Conclusion:-

Antenna Designing was a fascinating activity because even small changes in parameters like shape, size, or material of antenna can drastically affect its performance. By tweaking variables like the length of the element, spacing between the element, and the diameter we can optimize the antenna's efficiency, leading to significant gain in the signal strength.

After performing this design process on EZNEC, we were able to design a 6-element Yagi-Uda antenna with a gain of 14.99 dBi and wire diameter of 60mm.

The antenna design activity was successfully executed using the EZNEC software. The 6-element Yagi-Uda antenna was optimized by increasing the diameter of the wires and changing the spacing between successive directors accordingly. After the process, a gain of 14.99 dBi was obtained.

Designing activity was very exciting and insightful. Eznec software provide a very hands-on approach to designing the antenna and what all different variables and parameters affect the different antenna output like gain, directivity etc. How antenna gain can be optimised. These types of experience combine with the theory sessions makes the understanding of the topic better
