Está preparado para reconocer los patrones de su entorno (paredes, obstáculos…) y aprender a realizar de forma autónoma diversas tareas de la vida diaria, incluyendo el aprendizaje de ir a ciertos lugares, llevarte tu bebida favorita al sofá o un medicamento a la cama si estás enfermo. Además, puede aprender tanto a limpiar tus cristales, enseñar a tu hijo la lección de matemáticas o, incluso, ser un guía para ayudarte a pilotar un avión.
También esta dotado de ciertas capacidades sensoriales, programas que le ayudan a interpretar lo que observa y un software para comprender simples órdenes de su dueño. Tiene también sensores láser y un Xbox Kinect, una cámara que le permite capturar la información en 3D, lo que le permite identificar a las personas y su posición.
