Harry seen on the news that a fugitive has escaped from prison, named Sirius Black.

Harry learns that his aunt as is spending a week at his house.

A week passes and Harry has been able to put up with his aunt, although in the last night he begins to criticize his parents and Harry becomes very angry. Her aunt magically inflates like a balloon and flies away.

Harry decides to run away from home.

In he middle of the night the night bus picks up Harry.

Harry, Ron and Hermione find a compartment where the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Remus Lupine, sleeps.

The train stops abruptly and suddenly all the lights go out.

A hideous specter-like creature enters the compartment, and approaches Harry, who feels weak and limp, but then Lupine awakens and expels the creature from the compartment with a spell. Harry passes out hearing his mother's voice in his head.

Everyone leaves the Whomping Willow, when at that moment the full moon appears. Lupine turns into a werewolf.
