Owen was once warded in Craiglockhart and it can be asserted that this could be his own experience that he is describing which makes the poem more personal or intimate and allows the listener to have a better realistic view.

*INSPECTION
Poet: Wilfred Owen
Speaker:A Soldier
Persona: Soldier, Segeant, Officer

In the poem Inspection, owen presents a situation to the listeners where a soldier is being reprimanded for the dirty state of his uniform even if it is own blood that was seeping onto the clothing piece. Through the private, the speaker, owen is able to give his opinion on war and show how in war, a soldier's blood is no longer a symbol of sacrifice but a artifact with little to no meaning to the leaders

Dead-Beat
Poet: Wilfred Owen
Speaker:
Personae: Ill Soldier, Officer, Doctor, Other Soldiers

Persona and Speaker

Exposure
Persona- one person speaks on behalf of the soldiers
Speaker - Poet ( Wilfred Owen)
P.O.V.- first person
Okay so from my guesses
*Poem:* Exposure
*poetic grouping:* Closed
*Type of Poem:* Narrative
*Structure:* the poem has 8 stanzas which all consist of quintets
*POV:*
Persona: soldiers

Speaker: wilfred own

POV: first person plural
the poem is written in first person plural as own includes himself into the poem through the use of words such as 'we' and 'our' but he is also speaking on behalf of the soldiers which makes it plural. The pov is effective as it includes the readers into the poem and allows them to experience the emotions such as fear that the soldiers are experiences. As the listener reads the poems they feel included because of owen's use of inclusive pronouns

The Parable of the Old Man and the Young
Parable of the old man and the young
Personna: Abraham and Isaac
Speaker: "God"
Pov: third person omniscient
the poem can be classed as third person omniscient as there is some great being (the narrator ) is able to see how each person in the poem is feeling and also can see and recall all of what us going on. This point of view is effective as it reemphasises that the poem is based on a parable. A parable is a form of prose that was told by Jesus in the bible. Not only does the point of view emphasize that the poem is based on a story or narration but also highlights that it is an omniscient almost God like figure that is recalling the parable

*Poem:* Self Inflicted Wound
*poetic grouping:* Closed
*Type of Poem:* Elegy
*Structure:* the poem has stanzas which consist of a sestet (6) followed by a stanza with 20 lines, then a quatrain(4), a quintet(5), then a septet(7) and ends off with a couplet (2)

*POV:*
Persona: Tim's family, soldiers, Tim

Speaker: Varies from a poet from a kings court, a God-like omniscient figure, and Wilfred Owen.

POV: the poem is broken up into various parts which have various points of view. The epilogue of the poem is written in first person as the poet from the king's court is speaking about his actions. The prologue is written in 3rd person omniscient. This is seen as the narrator has access to the thought and actions of each Persona in the stanza. The POV then chances to first person plural in "The Action." Here is where Owen speaks on behalf of the all the soldiers who witnessed the suicide. In "The Poem" the POV is written in Third person objective. As it is Owen's reflection on the incident and he speaks about Tim. The final stanza "The Epilogue" is also written in third person omniscient. As the narrator recalls the thoughts words and actions of Tim and his mother. The various POVs are effective as the inconsistency in speakers can reflect the instability of the soldier who took his life. Also Owen's unconventional structure and use of point of view can also highlight that the Persona Tim is young and was not mature enough to handle the hardship of war.

*Poem* : SpringOffensive
*Poetic grouping* : Closed Form
*Type of Poem*: Pastoral
*structure:* 5 stanzas consisting on a quatrain, a 9 line stanza, a sonnet, a sestet and tan other sonnet.
*POV:*
Persona: soldiers
Speaker: an omniscient being
Pov: the poem is written in Third person limited as the narrator is only recalling the incident but is not able to see or feel eat the soldiers are feeling. This point of view is significant as it appeals more to the imagination of the listeners. Rather than using the thoughts of the soldiers to create a sympathetic effect on listeners Owen solely uses the imagination to create different from of imagery to appeal to the listeners emotion
