team manager/owner. A team manager is the person that holds everything together behind the scenes. They don’t usually play, but they make sure the players can perform at their best

Experience in Esports: Either as a player, coach, analyst, or content creator helps a lot.

Skills Needed: Organizational skills, communication, time management, people skills.

A team owner owns the actual brand and business of the esports team. They may or may not be involved in day-to-day operations, but they make the big calls.

Buy Into an Existing Org: Requires a LOT of capital and industry experience.

Investors: Some team owners are business people who saw the potential in esports and got involved financially.

i have a few experiences with being a team manager within lessons i could however volunteer more often as most the time i am picked to be the team captain, this gives me organizational skills and people skills to pick out the best candidates from my team. work experience would be my volunteer work from the easter holidays where i help children of numerous ages in a esports easter camp. this suits my hobby quite well as gaming is my main interest

this job role suits a long term/ medium timescale, as it requires a lot of certain skill set, some that take alot of time to achieve, to measure the success of the your team you can use the amount of victories your team gets against others. development activities can include job shadowing, this can be as easy as attending LAN events and looking how the manager develops the team throughout the event. then you use that information on yourself and your team.

some strengths i would say would be my communication this is vital in every factor as you need to talk to your players about how they can improve as a player and a teammate. an area for delvlopment would be my time management i can improve this by setting a certain schedule to follow.
