President from 1901-1909. He was the 26th president of the US. His personality was strong and educated. He was very passionate about being hard working, having drive and having optimism in life. He was also a bit of a jokester and was friendly to everyone. He had a will to make an impact on the future and he certainly left behind a big legacy. One thing that made him progressive was how he took on the captains of industry and argued for greater government control over the economy. Another thing that made him progressive was how he pushed for the ICC to set railroad rates which laid the foundation for modern times. One other thing he did was he took great pride in the nations natural resources and helped create the conservation movement of national parks and so on. Overall He was one of the best presidents America has ever seen! Roosevelt helped pass the Reclamation Act which reclaimed land for environmental use and helped protect the environment.
Image link: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiykNuxvu_lAhUrxVkKHe2eDn8QjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FTheodore_Roosevelt&psig=AOvVaw26xWhu5GBaNAp6vN2QKi2e&ust=1574019680368072

President from 1909-1913. He was the 27th president of the US. He was cheerful, and had an infectious laugh. He was popular and had many friends. He was quite a stickler for the law and did not leave as big of a legacy on America as Roosevelt did. One thing that made him progressive was his support of Roosevelts "square deal" policy which attempted to strike a balance between conservatives and progressives and employees and employers. He also pursued more antitrust suits than Roosevelt did in his term. He ended up appointing conservatives to key government posts which led to some controversy which made him seem less progressive to the people.
Image link: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjZvv780-_lAhWpm-AKHah2AcQQjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FWilliam_Howard_Taft&psig=AOvVaw3Yw61z3IHV0XiEmXPlB-sH&ust=1574025471854283

President from 1913-1921 and was the 18th president of the US. He craved affection and loved loyalty. He was considered an idealist and also loved and craved power. It is said that he was an emotionally complex man and seems to be quieter then Taft and Roosevelt. Something that made him progressive was his support of the working class by establishing the department of labor. He is also known for his Fourteen Points which was an attempt to establish peace and end WW1. He also changed his position on women suffrage during WW1 and did end up supporting women suffrage after previously not supporting it. He was most well known for his attempt to establish peaceful negotiations after WW1. In 1914, Wilson signed the Clayton Act which gave rights to labor workers and unionists and defined what was unethical in the workplace. He also signed the Income Tax which gave money to the federal government and was a source of income for the government.
Image link: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjqj7jI1e_lAhVuTt8KHYnBAZsQjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FWoodrow_Wilson&psig=AOvVaw3WwGQExSY0Uq135CtN_pY4&ust=1574025898190235
