Danae being locked in a cell with no sunlight is similar to Antigone being locked in a chamber underground. Destiny is inevitable for both Danae and Antigone. They could not control the actions of the gods. Both of the kings are paranoid about being overthrown.

Creon has hubris, or excessive pride, which causes him to go against the gods. This is foreshadowing Creon's fall because of his temper and headstrong ways. He mocks/questions the power of the gods, and this will cause his downfall. It also mentions the sisters of the Muses, which foreshadows him not being able to get back in good graces with the gods after he offends them. This suggests that Creon tries to correct his ways, but the gods do not care

Charley, Ava, and Kate P. Antigone is imprisoned like Phineas' wife. She is blinded by her stubborn nature and refuses to ask Creon for mercy because she believes that she is right. This acceptance will lead to the inevitable tragedy in both stories.
