         <description><![CDATA[<div>the "black table is still there is a story about a table in a school cafeteria labeled as the black table where most of the black students sat at. The author explains how he didn't like how the table made him feel he didn't like that the black kids that sat at that table would make fun of him for sitting at a different table.&nbsp;<br><br>"I heard angry words like Oreo and white boy being hurled at me from the black table". (pg 350)<br><br>&nbsp;and he also didn't want to sit at the "black table" because he didn't want to lose all of his white friends.&nbsp;<br><br>"I avoided the black table for a very simple reason, I was afraid that by sitting at the black table I'd lose all my white friends." (pg 350)</div>]]></description>
