As both she, her supervisor and collaborators want to jump directly into research, this can be difficult to allot time for and be interested in, as this was not her previous field.

Advice:
- Discuss with supervisor the necessity of taking time to learn about the potato organism and the related topics
- Consider using ECTS points to take related course (or course project, if no appropriate course exists) in order to learn about this.
- Reach out to knowledgeable people about this (possibly your collaborators) with regards to gaining related knowledge and resources
