"I know that climate change has something to do with a drastic change in weather, usually in a way it isn't supposed to be in that time frame. I also know that climate change can be very unpredictable, and can make a big impact on our lives." Climate change is very unpredictable. No one realizes how much this can impact our future and its just sad how it keeps getting worse every year.

All of the garbage in landfills release methane gas and this methane gas is really bad for our air and environment. Humans release a lot of Methane into the air because of all of the trash that we produce. Americans disposed around 262 million tons of garbage in 2012. Everyday 728,000 tons of garbage gets thrown out, this is enough garbage to fill 63,000 garbage trucks. All of this trash will decompose one day and when trash decomposes, it creates methane gas and releases it into our environment.

Studies have been done and they show that bodies of land such as forests can help slow down climate change. The idea that they have is that using bodies of land would be a good way of keeping some carbon, although it sounds odd the land that isn't being used can just take the carbon and renew it, to make oxygen.
