Create a padlet to clearly present the questions and your answers for the 2.4 project. Be sure your answers are supported by the week 2 textbook.

1. Summarize each of the four motivation theories in your own words.

Behavioral Theory: Behavioral theory is a theory that is use to reward yourself. For example every time i get a good score in a test i treat myself to crab legs. Rewarding myself will make we want to score high again on my next test.

Cognitive Theory: Cognitive theory is a theory that is use to learn from your mistakes. For example if i fail a test that i didn't study for, the next time i will study because i learn that the reason i fail is because i didn't study. If i study next time i can score higher that i did when i didn't study.

Social Theory: Social Theory is learning by observing others around us. For example at my job others around me build letters. If i wanted to learn how to build i will just watch how they do it.

Humanistic Theory: Is a perspective that emphasizes looking at the whole person, and the uniqueness of everyone. For example if i wanted to achieve something i will use my own freewill to try and achieve it. Like if i wanted to buy me a new car my freewill will motivate me to get that car i want.

2. Identify which theory you think would be most helpful in maintaining your motivation. Discuss how this theory can be used to support your commitment to your goals.

I think behavioral Theory will help me maintain my motivation. The reason i say that is because every time i reward myself it will make me want to do better the next time. Every time i would want to do good because i will already know i am getting a reward.
