Enjoy every moment.

Be grateful for all the opportunities you have, socialize and make new friends, explore new places, and create as many memories as possible. Take lots of pictures and maybe write some memories in your journal, it will be amazing to look back on all the incredible moments.

Don't forget that money can come back, but the moments and memories not. One last important thing is to be open-minded and step out of your comfort zone.

Try to value your time on a mobility as much as possible. Try something new and experience everything you can. The memories you make there last forever, so remember to take as many as you can home with you. Make friendships that last a long time, because knowing people from various places is never a bad thing, and you can talk to them even after the mobility ends.

An experience such as this is quite unique, and you should get the most out of it!

From my perspective, the time spent in Portugal has taught me that there is nothing more meaningful than being able to discover a new place and its culture side by side with enthusiastic people. One of the main highlights of this mobility was the opportunity to learn more about our surrounding world from dedicated teachers along with clever students, that helped me deeply understand each lesson, regardless it was biology, maths or computer science, while also testing my personal knowledge and sharing our contrasting school experiences. What's more, we also got the chance to explore Almada and Lisbon and come upon historical facts about their people’s lifestyle from natives and interactive museums, such as the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology. Therefore, this mobility has rewarded me not only with landscape pictures, souvenirs and magnets, but also with new friends, accomplishments, the sense of belonging and rebuilt self-confidence. I am most grateful for our hosts and team made of wonderful people for making this experience truly memorable!

For me the Erasmus experience was very special because it had a very important role in growing up. Even though the first day was kinda difficult, I got used to the English language very quickly and even improved my speaking skills. I had a great team and I met nice people from the host country. Thus, the cultural exchange was complex and I managed to come back home with a lot of knowledges and experiences. I can say that I had a culture shock. The school in Portugal is very different from the Romanian one in many ways. I got to experience the practical side of some subjects such as experiments in chemistry, biology and interactive programming methods such as video games. Also, the sights and activities were incredible. In the end, the Erasmus experience was unique and I would choose to repeat it anytime!

Erasmus was an incredible experience for me. I had the opportunity to meet amazing people, all very welcoming and friendly. I created endless new friendships, explored new breathtaking places, and made unforgettable memories.
On a personal level, I managed to develop my language skills, and I socialized with many new unknown people.
I'm glad that I managed to see a different educational model compared to the one at home. I saw how the classes were going, I participated with the foreign students in various activities, such as science, biology, and chemistry experiments, and experienced a school canteen for the first time. One of the most interesting things for me was the informatics class because I was able to test games made by students, a new method meant to make learning more fun. We did experiments in the science laboratory, where we learned new interesting things, and also organized a fun Geocaching activity.
During my time, I learned about the Portuguese culture, celebrated the "Carnation Revolution" on April 25th, and learned a few words in Portuguese. About our team, we collaborated and enjoyed this wonderful experience together, we laughed and learned in a new environment and also in a fun way.
I am forever grateful for this wonderful experience in my life, a chapter that I will not forget, where I met extraordinary people and made cherished memories with our wonderful team.

In my opinion, the mobility in Portugal was something priceless, and has taught me that experiences such as this one are priceless. Being surrounded by such amazing and hospitable people made the time spent with them incredibly enjoyable, and gave me the confidence to talk with as many people as I could, and I`m thankful that I got to know so many. The professors were also really welcoming and kind. The lessons we took part in were captivating and enjoyable, and the fact that they had ways of teaching different from ours made it even more interesting. Their entire school was really nice to discover, and I really liked the fact that they study different things then us, which I find very exciting. Alongside this, we got to see Lisbon and Almada, two great locations with amazing views and places. We visited museums such as The Museum of Art, The Museum of Architecture and The Museum of Technology, and they were really interactive and captivating. Nonetheless, this experience was one of a kind, and I am thankful that I was lucky to be a part of this mobility and that I got to know such amazing people and to discover such an amazing culture and country!

Once you arrive in the host country, you will step out of your comfort zone, but my advice is to embrace change! Be as active as possible, get involved in all projects and try to learn the best things from the people around you. Take as many photos as possible, so you can relive the moments and make unforgettable memories with the students from there. Also, show them how life is in Romania, and learn facts about their country, too! Moreover, always be positive and have fun!

I learned from my favorite artist that nothing in life is promised except death, and if you have the opportunity to play this game of life, you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don’t appreciate their moment until it’s past.

You have to live life to the fullest because then it’s not worth living, find your way of fulfillment and step out of your comfort zone. Every negative experience is actually a sign of a positive one with enough time and a change of perspective. Our mentors proved that in tricky situations, you need to slow down and think about what the best move is, and everything will work out.

Going to Portugal with the Erasmus program was an amazing experience that changed me a lot for the good. From the start, everyone was super welcoming and made me feel right at home. The school that we went to was very lovely and looked incomparable to what I was used to, everybody was so happy I think they had fun at school.

In the Informatics classes, everybody had prepared projects to show us in Unity, Tinker CAD, and Blender that were unbelievably creative and they were happy to see us. It was really cool talking to everyone, making new friends, and learning how their school education system works. In chemistry and biology, we did a lot of fun experiments where we saw cells from an onion skin changing color and shape, and we did reactions with enzymes from some liver. Other games that we played at the school were Solve the Murder where we had to work together and the solution was mind-blowing and Dark Stories which is an app that I still play with my friends.

We also got to see cool places in Lisbon and Almada and visited interesting museums like the Museum of Architecture, The Museum of Art, and The Money Museum where I learned about the local culture and history. One of my favorite places was the “Oceanario de Lisboa” where we saw a ton of species of fish and birds. My favorite fish was the Tropical Jellyfish which was purple with white dots formed by micro-algae.

This trip gave me so many good memories and made me more confident. I’m really thankful for this experience and all the awesome people I met. It was something I’ll always remember, and it made me excited to see more of the world.
