This is a totally different take from any album I have ever listened to before. I like the lyrics because she is saying "why do I keep picking up my phone every time that you call" so obviously there is this inner battle going on. She knows he isn't worth her time but she is still willing to give it to him. It is really relatable. They call her out for not really being "savage" as the title claims. she goes to admit that she in fact is not a savage and that her album is apologetic at times which contradicts the title completely.
