Research advertisements. Select a visual, video or audio advertisement that appeals to you. Why? What language was used? Were you ‘targeted’?

The M and M's advertisement appeals to me because the ad is visually detailed yet the simple text creates an urge to eat the product.
The images in the advertisement create a sense that each M and M has a personality and every consumer can identify with at least one of these .
The text provides a simple catch phrase that stays in the consumer's mind long after the ad has been shown. This helps to develop , in the consumer , a sense that they need to acquire the product.
The words, " You get in the bowl " make no mention of the product itself. Instead, it creates an amusing " double meaning " . On the one hand the consumer is amused by the cheeky chocolate back-answering a human and on the other hand "Get in the bowl" creates a sense of indulging in a bowl of chocolate.
In this regard consumers of all ages who love the sweet taste of chocolate are very purposefully targeted by this marketing technique.

The Daffodil's advertisement appeals to me because it is visual ad audio so you can see and hear it. Also this ad appeals to me because of it's catchy song in the background. This advertisement targets families because children remember the tune and so when they go to the supermarket the children could be singing it and so the parents might buy Daffodil butter. In this advertisement they used some rhyming, for example: " taste it don't waste it." Also they used repetition because quite a lot they sang " the great taste of Daffodil." This advertisement is not on the TV any more and it is quite old as my parents were little kids when this AD came out.

The Pringles ad appeals to me because. The slogan of Pringles is "Once you pop You Can't Stop" Meaning if you start eating Pringle Crisps you can't stop eating them. I personally Adore Pringles but I think this "Catchy Slogan" Targets Kids and Young Adults. I also really like this ad because it's catchy. The thing I also like about this ad is that you can also have fun with Pringles.

This NIKE advertisement appeals to be because DIRK NOWITZKI is probably one one of the best ballers ever, so I was kind of hooked before I even read it. NIKE have really done well in this add , they've chosen the highest point scorer of the modern era (Even in front of LeBron), and they have chosen very strong words to capture me. This visual really makes a reader (me) think about when these amazing NBA players were kids, and when they had their own dreams. Did they have dreams of being top scorer in their era at one point? Did they even want to play BASKETBALL? Well done NIKE (and DIRK).

ALL DREAMS ARE CRAZY.

UNTIL THEY COME TRUE

-NIKE

DIRK NOWITSKI Created history with his fadeaway jumpshot to get his 30,000th NBA point. And still counting!!

What attracted me to this ad was that they make you think that your shoe is part of your body yet part of your life. This ad targets people who like the science behind running by showing the tendons and muscles inside your legs and just running itself. They use personal language by saying "your body" so it makes you think they are talking to you. This appeals to me because I have these shoes and I love them because they are great shoes.

What attracted me to this ad was the fact that they use a lot of animation to demonstrate the suit's capabilities, and how they use language you relate to, like "in a world that is not your own." The ad can not be missed, and is very engaging to watch, which is another reason why I chose this ad. They also show this product in action, and make you want to learn even about the product. The special effects and lighting are amazing, and give you excitement towards the product.
