Our next topic is multiplying and dividing decimals. I wonder if there’s a way that I can include some of their lingo/memes into our lesson. Maybe when we’re doing box multiplication I can include something.

Students will be working on a presentation about themselves…I’m going to give them the option to record themselves and even allow them to have the option to be seen or not. I was going to make them all present before the class but now I will give them options.

I am going to have my students create a video about how to prepare for a natural disaster rather than creating a poster

I am teaching an Edgar Allen Poe short story. I will allow my students some choice in product that will include generationally appropriate options, like creating a tik tok "story time" as a guest at the party in the story or writing a short true-crime podcast about the plot.

We are focusing on letter recognition next week. Students have shown interest in “pinkfong” I will find an alphabet video made by pinkfong to connect to their interest
