The level of care that was exhibited in the development of grants and relief to treat with the specific needs of the population. Lives followed by livelihood and the emphasis placed on preserving dignity through employment.

The extensive availability of financial and other support lead by the government, NGOs and the private sector. What stood out for me was....
* Magnitude of the impact caused to the circuit breakers/lock downs are huge globally
* Measures /Plans /schemes to support populations who are being effected by the lockdowns is a crucial part of the whole response
* Ways to minimize the impact of crisis on the migrant population is an important factor to keep in mind and creating ways to reach out and include them in the supporting schemes is of great importance
*Working together and involving the community in the response effort will help great deal in crisis management.
* Importance of Building a digitally inclusive community

This task cannot fall on the onus of government alone. Need for all stakeholders - communities, individuals, private, public, NGO's to step up with government to ensure who needs assistance gets it. Accuracy and equity in distribution of resources  is required to protect the most vulnerable.

1. The thoroughness of Singapore's economic planning for the pandemic, with considerations for all sectors and the willingness to invest now to preserve the livelihoods of all Singaporeans. Of course Singapore had the reserves to do it, but being able to think about and plan for all of these is an amazing feat of management. 

2. The power of the community, harnessing it by engaging and rallying  them towards a common and shared goal.
