Shooter
For years video games have been criticized for making people more antisocial , overweight or depressed. But now research are finding that games can actually change us for the better and improve both our body and mind. Games can help to develop physical skills. Pre school children who played interactive games such as the ones available on Wii have been show to have improved motor skills, for example they can kind, catch and throw a ball better than children who don’t play video games. A study of surgeons who do Microsurgery in Botern found that those who played videos games were 27 percent faster and made 37 percent fewer errors than those who didn’t. Vision is also improved, particularly telling the different between shared of grey. This is useful for diving at night, piloting a plane or reading sray. Games also benefit a variety of brain function, including decision making. People who play action basic games make decision 25 percent faster than others and are less accurate, according to 1 study. It was also found that the best gamer can make choice and art them up 6 times a second, 4 times faster than most people. In other study by researchers from the university of Rochester in New York, experiences games were shown to be pay attention to more than 6 thing at once without getting consensus, compare with the 4 that most people can normally keep in mind. Additionally, videos games can also reduce gender differences. Scientists have found that women who played games are better able to mentally manipulate 3 object. There is also evidence that gaming can help with psychological problem. At the university of Auckland in New Zealand, researchers asked 94 young people diagnosed to play a 3 fan called sparx and in many cases, the game reduced symptoms of depresion more than conventional treatment. Another research team at Ford university found that playing Tetris shortly after exposure to something very upseting in the experiment, a flim of traumatic scenes of just and death was used can actually prevent people have district flashbacks. The effects aren’t always so positive, however. Indiana university researchers carry out brain scan on young men and found evident that violence games can alter brain function after as little as a week of play, affecting regions in the brain associated with emotions control and cause more aggressive behaviour in the player. But Daphne bavelier, 1 of the most experience researcher in the field, says that violent action games that often worry parents most may actually have the stronger beneficial effect on the brain. In the future, we may see many treatments for physical and neurological problem which incorporate the playing of video games.

The operation took 7 hours, and doctors use a generally- modified pig heart. There were simliar operations in the past, but they were never successful. Last week’s operation was successful because the patient’s body didn’t reject the heart immediately. The patient was doing well 3 days after the operation but it was not possible to say if he would live or for how long. The patient was 57-year-old man from Maryland. The operation was his last chance because he was too sick to get a human heart. The operation was not a usual procedure, and doctors needed special permission to complete it.
