The students visited the local folklore museum of Xylagani, the exhibits of which come from the donations of the residents from their personal collections.The purpose of the visit was to study the traditional local costume and its course over time.The students noticed the relevant exhibits and followed a discussion at the school about the costume development from the old to the present.

Day Event 2 "Celebration of International Museum Day"

The school chose the International Museum Day to visit the Xyaganis' Folkloric Museum and the Cultural Center.The pupils saw the exhibits. They then informed teachers, students and parents about the exhibits and expressed their concern for the preservation of our cultural heritage.

Day Event 4 "Young archaeologist

Students visiting their archaeological site in Maroneia in cooperation with the Archaeological Museum of Komotini were guided and informed about the historical value of the 
foundings.The archeologist's suggestion was followed and the pupils were asked to 
replicate by painting the space and telling their views.

With great willingness the students took care of the cleanliness of the courtyard of our school by cleaning the space, painting and creating small flower gardens.

The Erasmus team with a photo exhibition organized gave the opportunity to teachers and students to get an idea of the way of life of the prehistoric settlement of Dispilio (5500 BC).The exhibition had the opportunity to see parents and local authorities in our school.
