Their leader wanted it to be the main thing of China, and he was very liked for this. He would also go on to expand canals and roads, and would conquer more land through war. People would be allowed to test to be a leader of Confucianism, and would have more "power" than others. They had expanded on the agriculture in China, but trade was still the most important thing to them. It was thought to be that a leader would be chose, and he would prosper and become great, but then when heaven decided it was time for someone new, they would slowly start declining until someone new came in, and then this cycle would repeat.
