Because he is a good weather man and he is funny.

They start their day off early. Meteorologists start their day off right when they get up. After coffee they get on their computers to start looking up the daily and or weekly weather forecasts during their time off they find stuff to do that they like to do in their free time such as spend time with their family. And they also go out and track storms and all that bad weather stuff. A meteorologist has to have a degree in Masters of Science or a Ph.D.. It takes 4 years to become a meteorologist. Meteorologists make $89,820 a year. Me personally I don't want to become a meteorologist because I'm scared of bad storms and all of that stuff and plus I personally don't like attention so I wouldn't do good as a meteorologists.

I've also met him a couple times and he is a really nice guy. A day in the life of a meteorologist starts with a very early morning beginning around 2:30 A.M. The rise early and report to work around 4 A.M. By 5 A.M., the weather team has already met and decide if they are going to send out daily forecasts or storm alerts. Around 7 A.M., they are sending out morning forecasts and warnings of snow and other conditions. They try to take a break around 8 and get breakfast and a quick nap. They spend their next hours analyzing data and weather conditions. By 11 A.M. new data and models are coming in. Then by 1 A.M. they are briefing others about weather and heading home by 2. To be a meteorologist, they have to get a BS in meteorology or atmospheric science. Their median salary is $82,820. I would not enjoy meteorology because I am not a morning person.
